“The day that made my year”
I have been Sam’s fan since 1991… i have seen her life a few times, but last saturday (29th October 2011)… was the best!
I have arrived to support Sam and Barnes Boys Charity Ball for Cystic Fibrosis ….was a bit nervous as it has been almost 6 years since i saw her. Recently i have missed a very few opportunaties to see Sam life in London….so was looking forward more than anything…Nothings gonna stop me that night!
I was late , but as soon as i have arrived ive noticed Myra! was so lovely to see her! as i was saying hello to her …ive spotted Samantha! ….She saw me! and it was a bit emotional moment for me! we gave a very strong hug to eachother! it felt like ive seen a longtime friend which ive not seen for a long time! i said: Sam! you will sing ” Nothings Gonna Stop Me Now ” tonight wont You??? its my favorite song of Yours?!! she said: Of course darling!!
One thing i must say! she has not aged! nothing! she looked the same as i saw her back in 2004! fabulous hair, immaculate make up, stunning black dress, attention to details jewelry… 
Later on the moment came which i was looking so forward…Sam Life!
With the hit ” I Surrender” Sam’s opened the show! Me and the other fans went straight away to the stage….i have never been so close up at Sam’s gig like this before! it was very special! it was amazing!!
And the hits just followed “Confession” ,” Angel”, ” Forever”, “True Devotion”, ” I Only Wanna Be With You”, “Perhaps”, “Call Me”.
Before she introduced “Nothings Gonna Stop Me Now” she said: Robertas! i know this one its your favorite!!!!! it was very special moment!
She finished show with “Touch Me” Of course! timeless classic! However, the song that really did the show to me personaly was “Sex On Fire” i have never heard Sam singing so passionate before, her vocals were amazing!!! this song must be on her next album and LIFE only!!!
After her show i was lucky enough to catch up with Carole. Sam’s stunning mother, which i’ve meet 1st time at TV show THE CLUB back in 2003, London. I’ve asked a few things, i’ve always wanted to know regarding Samantha’s album cover outfits! especially Just One Night & Angel.
Soon …Sam joined our table! (well, her own table, it was us who joined hers …cheeky fans ehh !!!!! )
it was fantastic! Me, my partner, David ( a fan from Glasgow…BTW Sorry David if i took most of her time ??!! after all they dont call me Joan Collins for nothing) and Sam…i have showed my favorite albums, my 1st ever poster and 7inch single! she was very kind to sign them all! I could not whish for anything more!!!
Thank You Myra, Carole and of course Especially Samantha! for making such a unforgettable experience…it will stay with me forever!!!
